Twitter was created as a communication medium. A way of keeping in touch with friends. Unlike “MySpace” & “FaceBook”, being a member of Twitter allows you to send a very short “update” on what you are doing. Anyone that is “following” you gets an instant email of your update. I still don’t really relate to the concept of individuals sending short emails (tweets) to a group of friends (followers) to let them know what they are doing on a daily basis. However what has evolved on Twitter is celebrities, musicians, businesses, etc. use Twitter to let their “followers” know what is going on.

A very usefull way that we could use Twitter at Kennel Club USA is: We are called very often about someone losing a dog or someone finding a lost dog. We have a couple of thousand clients. When someone notifies us it would be easy for us to send an update out. Any one following us would get the email. So please register and follow us on Twitter. www.twitter.com/KennelClubUSA

The meeting place to line up for the parade is the parking lot of the Church Of The Resurrection in New Albany. This is the catholic church located across the street from the High School.

Please Note:’You cannot park in the church parking lot. You must park in the school parking lot and walk across the street. Please have your car parked prior to 10:00 a.m. this Saturday morning the 16^th. The police will be closing the streets and you will not be able to get into the parking lot after 10:00 a.m..’
